Astalon: Tears Of The Earth announcement trailer released

I enjoyed very much playing games in my childhood times and even from teenager to adult age. Now I am proud to be mixing engineer for music in retro style gaming experiences like this. -JMK

Three explorers wander through a post-apocalyptic desert to find a way to save the people in their village. A dark, twisted tower has been pushed up from the depths of the Earth… but does it hold the answers they seek?

How to Be Happy With The Sound of Your Instrument?

One of the most common problems musicians have these days is the sound of their own instrument. I’m going to go through some of my points and views about instrument sounds and possibly share some light on the subject.

One thing that being unhappy with the sound of your instrument is going to cause is having an urge to buy better instruments and accessories such as amplifiers, effects and other stuff that cost you money. All things do influence your sound and are important, but what is the most important?

Just did my first purchases on bandcamp.com

Yes, I have been using bandcamp for a long time as a musician and a band member, but never really bought anything from there. Now I have made my first purchases there and I have to say I’m really pleased how easy and fast it can be. I really don’t care anymore if I get a CD or digital download. The music is the same anyway and so far I’ve only bought CD’s, but kind of preferred to support the artists directly. I also think the quality of independent artists has gone up so much it doesn’t really matter if you have a label or not.
